One Bank for Corporates, launched 10 years ago by Group BNP Paribas CEO, Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, provides a unique transversal approach across the Bank’s various corporate banking entities. It relies on a strong collaborative mindset within all the teams in the Group’s international network and enables them to provide a seamless and high level of service as they accompany over 7,000 clients across 56 countries worldwide.
As Deputy Chairwoman of One Bank for Corporates, Caroline’s mission is to steer this transversal initiative across BNP Paribas, to adapt it for continued support to our clients in their international expansion and on their transformation journey, and to bring the Bank to the next level – in line with its ambition to be the preferred Europe-based banking partner for our corporate clients.
Caroline joined the Group in 1991 as Relationship Manager and built her expertise over 14 years in the Loan Market.
In 2007, she became Head of Origination for French Corporates, including the CAC 40 and the French mid-Cap Market, and syndicated all types of corporate loans, from general corporate purpose to event-driven deals.
In 2015, Caroline was made head of EMEA Strategic Client Coverage, with functional responsibility for more than 30 Senior Bankers covering over 250 Strategic Clients.
In 2016, Caroline was appointed Co-Head of Corporate Coverage EMEA (700 professionals in 34 countries), then Head of Corporate Coverage EMEA in 2018, as well as Deputy Head of Corporate Clients Group while holding commercial responsibilities for key clients and direct Country supervision for France.
Caroline values the Bank’s engagement towards society and is member of the BNP Paribas Foundation Executive Committee for Culture (in house philanthropy organisation which supports projects dedicated to Solidarity, Environment and Culture).
This support of Culture extends to Caroline’s personal commitments as Board Member of the Festival d’Automne, a contemporary arts event in Paris, and sponsor of the internationally recognised Angelin Preljocaj contemporary ballet, that produces around 100 annual performances in France and abroad.
