Cédric Teissier is the Founder and CEO of Echotraffic, a venture capital fund investing in pre-seed and seed rounds in crypto, web3, blockchain and NFTs, and an advisor to crypto-related projects.
After graduating from Cornell University, Cédric started his career with Debevoise & Plimpton as an attorney in NYC, where he also led the French Investment Management Group. In 2009, he co-founded Palico, a B2B private equity marketplace now being used by 70% of the global private equity community. In 2012, he co-founded Finexkap, which has become a European leader in B2B embedded working capital financing platform in Europe with 20,000 + clients and operating throughout Europe. Stepping down from the CEO role of Finexkap late 2021 to become non-executive Chairman, Cédric has since followed the rabbit hole of crypto, graduating for crypto-related courses from MIT, Duke, Princeton and INSEAD. Being an artist by himself, and in parallel to investing into and advising projects in the crypto space, Cédric launched The Lonely Clowns collection – an initiative intended to create digital clowns, each day, until such day where policy-makers, medias and stakeholders understand why crypto is a revolution, and where crypto users stand by the intrinsic values of crypto. He regularly publishes articles in the media as such to evangelize crypto.
